I like building things. Figuring out how a system should work, then making it actually work. Give me a problem and I'll happily go end-to-end on it: schema design, backend, UI, the deploy pipeline, all of it.
What keeps me hooked is the problem-solving: untangling a gnarly bug, finding the shape of a system that isn't obvious yet, or shaving latency off something that used to be slow. I gravitate toward AI-driven products, real-time dashboards, and anything with data flowing through it at scale.
Outside of work, that same itch shows up as competitive programming: 400+ LeetCode problems solved and a peak contest rating of 1500+. A good algorithm problem is just problem-solving in its purest form.

Engineered an SEO-optimized media platform and custom CMS from scratch: Next.js SSR, Node.js, and MongoDB, with Azure Blob Storage handling image delivery. Added Redis caching in front of high-traffic engagement metrics to keep load off the primary database, and built a semantic search engine using Elasticsearch and vector embeddings for content discovery that goes beyond keyword matching.
